By its geographic location, Hum na Sutli municipality is largely oriented towards Slovenia and Central Europe. On its territory there are four border crossings (international one in Lupinjak, interstate in Hum na Sutli, and two borders in Mali Tabor and Klenovec Humski.
So, it represents northwest “green door” of Croatia.
FRAGRANCE AND TASTE OF SUTLANSKA VALLEY
Surrounded by green forests and valleys, lakes, streams and rivers, as a tourist destination in Hum na Sutli we offer travel thematic hiking path called “Fragrance and taste of Sutlanska Valley”. Although all these destinations can be reached by car, we propose an active tour of walking and cycling.
GLASS PRODUCTION TRADITION
This is location that nurtures a hundred years old tradition of production of glass, glass products, packaging glass products, cut glass and products made of crystal, so there are the factories nearby.

HOLSTER (KUBURA) ASSOCIATIONS
Shooting from the holster is an ancient custom that in this region is being preserved to this day.
Holster or recently called in Zagorje region – “pištola” is fire personal weapon of soldiers that was used for military purposes in the 14th century, but in our country was first mentioned in the 15th century as a firearm for deterrence and close combat at the time of the Turkish wars.
Today, in the preservation of that tourist attraction in the region of Hum na Sutli, there are 5 holster associations with more than 300 members.
